Aladdin 3D

This beloved animated classic is coming back to theaters, but in live-action form. See Aladdin and Princess Jasmine face off against Jafar in this big-budget action adventure. Will Smith takes on the iconic role of the Genie, fulfilling wishes and cracking jokes left and right.

The Secret Life of Pets 2

Your favorite housebound pets return in another installment of The Secret Life of Pets. If you’ve ever wondered what your pets do when they’re home alone all day, make sure you catch this animated family sequel starring Tiffany Haddish, Harrison Ford, and Kevin Hart.

Toy Story 4

Release date: June 21st, 2019

One of the most beloved franchises in Hollywood history is getting a new installment this year, nearly ten years after Toy Story 3 hit theaters back in 2010. This time Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and the gang are headed for the local county fair as they search for new meaning after leaving their owner Andy behind. All your favorite actors are returning, including Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, and a cameo by Keanu Reeves.

Spider-Man: Far from Home

Spider-Man gets another standalone movie after the breakout success of Spiderman: Homecoming back in 2017. You’ve probably seen Tom Holland’s Spider-Man spinning webs throughout Disney’s Marvel Cinematic Universe, but this time he faces a new threat all by himself during a class trip to Europe. You’ll see some spectacular action sequences and plenty of that signature Marvel humor.

The Lion King (Live Action)

Your favorite childhood classic from 1994 returns to the big screen, but this time it’s all live action. You’ll see your favorite characters, like Simba, Nala, Timon, and Pumbaa, come to life with stunning CGI motion graphics as they try to defeat Scar. This version features some big-name talent, including Donald Glover, Beyoncé, and Seth Rogen.

Maleficent 2

Release date: October 18th, 2019

Angelina Jolie returns as Maleficent in this sequel to the original fantasy film from 2014. The villain from Sleeping Beauty faces off against Elle Fanning’s Queen-to-Be as they try to keep the magical kingdom intact. You’ll see lots of magical creatures and some truly out-of-this-world costumes.

Frozen 2

Release Date: November 22nd, 2019

One of the most successful animated films of recent memory returns for a highly anticipated sequel. Sisters Elsa and Anna face new threats as we discover the origin of Elsa’s magical powers. This installment is sure to feature some big musical numbers, hilarious jokes from Olaf the talking snowman, and terrifying ice creatures.

Star Wars Episode IX

Release Date: December 20th, 2019

Get ready for another action-packed installment of everyone’s favorite film franchise. Rey, Finn, and Poe return to face off against the First Order for one epic final battle. Mark Hamill’s Luke Skywalker and even Carrie Fisher’s Princess Leia are expected to make final appearances as well. Get the tissues ready.
